UNCW SEAHAWKS HOCKEY ALUMNI CLUB
In August of 2023, the UNCW Seahawks Hockey Alumni Club was formed. The purpose of the Alumni Club is to reconnect with former teammates and to give back to the program that has given us such great memories. We also aim to connect with the current UNCW hockey players as an avenue of networking and advising as they make their next steps after college.
Throughout the year, we hope to work with the men’s ACHA D2 team in a series of fundraising activities to help offset costs for each season, including such as ice time, travel, coaches pay, new equipment, etc., while also supporting the long-term financial stability of the UNCW Hockey Program.
We invite all former hockey players and their families to join the UNCW Hockey Alumni Club and participate in our events. Our main event is our annual Alumni Weekend, which includes a golf outing on Friday, and a Alumni hockey game on Saturday. At this time, we are looking to hold Alumni Weekend on November 10th & 11th as the UNCW Seahawks hockey team takes on James Madison University. Once we have the final confirmation from the rink, we will confirm the dates publically.

UNCW Seahawks home opener is September 8th, 2023 against High Point University at 10:00 pm.
